Turmeric Tea Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup of water
1/2 inch raw Turmeric or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon ginger (ground spice or use 1/4 inch freshly grated ginger root)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon or one small stick
Two pods of Cardamom ground
One teaspoon Jaggery or raw sugar
Instructions
Add Ginger, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Jaggery, and Cardamom to water and let it boil for 5 minutes.
Now add milk to it and let it boil.
Once the milk starts to boil then lower the heat and cook for about 5 minutes. Strain out the tea into a cup and enjoy.
